Each half term the 0-19 Standards Team hold breakfast briefings for Headteachers.
These 2 hour, early morning briefings aim to keep you up to date via a number of short items providing headlines for key local and national issues and developments. They also provide opportunities to network with other Headteachers and Local Authority personnel. The agenda for each meeting and accompanying resources and handouts are uploaded to these pages immediately following each briefing.
Here’s what a few Headteachers said recently about the breakfast briefings:
“ … without a doubt this is the most useful/effective way to receive a huge amount of information. THANKYOU!”
“I am kept well informed and I know who to approach for support when required.”
“These briefings are really useful. Keeping us up to date with national issues as well as local ones. Information (is) given briefly and effectively – not wasting time. The briefings also supports maintaining positive relationships between schools and (between) the Local authority and schools.”
The briefings are “… key for engaging with services or using resources.”
