The Southwark Costumes and Artefacts Service has a comprehensive and high quality  collection  of costumes, artefacts and teacher resources. The costumes are suitable for  the range of age and size. There are historical, cultural, religious, physiological and geographical artefacts.

We are  delighted to announce the  re-opening of the Southwark Costumes  and Artefacts Service (SCAS)  from January 2018.  We are grateful to Helen Ingham and her team at Ivydale Primary School  for hosting the service.  The service will be  delivered by our  consultant Anna Kovacevic who has a wealth of experience in costume design and working with schools. They will be able to offer advice and training for schools to make best use of this wonderful resource.  Schools will be able to purchase an annual subscription by completing and returning the attached form (docx, 18kb). Please ensure you have read the information, advice and terms and conditions document (pdf, 392kb)before signing and returning the subscription form.

The annual subscription service  will cost maintained primary schools £350.00 and all other schools £400.00. This subscription fee enables schools and organisations  to access as many costumes and artefacts as they wish throughout the year for productions, displays and use in lessons.  The resources are located at Ivydale Primary School’s Bellwood Building on Ivydale Road, Nunhead, London, SE15 3BU.  The resources can be accessed, by appointment,  on Tuesday and Wednesday  afternoons  during term time between 16.00 and 17.00.

Schools will also be able to make single ‘purchases’ if they decide not to subscribe. See the attached information guidance for details.

For queries about subscribing to the service please contact  Odunola Ajibola in the first instance.
