Southwark Schools' Partnership Board

The Southwark Schools’ Partnership Board (SSPB) is a strategic board whose members represent Southwark education stakeholders.

The Southwark Schools’ Partnership Board aims to work strategically to identify and strengthen the response to the key Southwark educational priority areas in order to improve outcomes across all schools in the borough.

The two aims of the partnership are to:

  • collaborate on school improvement- for all schools across the borough;
  • support schools to develop the capacity and expertise to bring about improvement through self- evaluation, targeted improvement plans and a consistently high quality of leadership and teaching

The board bases its borough- wide improvement priorities on the Standards Report and Council Plan: to ensure that every school exceeds London averages at every stage. These priorities are distilled into work streams, through which the Board delivers products over the year. The Standards Report 2018-19 is available here.

The work streams for 2019-20 are:

  • Celebrations

  • Curriculum
