Aims

This half day session is designed to give some suggestions and thoughts of how to improve continuous play provision in your setting. It will focus on the three main elements of continuous play provision; the emotional environment, the indoor environment and the outdoor environment, building on this to include the principles of continuous play provision and the role of the adult when offering appropriate challenge to children’s learning

Summary

It is important that as early years practitioners we fully understand the important role continuous play provision has in enhancing children’s learning and in doing so, we can then appreciate that an environment rich in continuous play, allows children to be part of a journey of exploration and discovery

Join this training to learn more about what is continuous play provision, some of the challenges and how to ‘plan’ for an environment full of endless opportunity for all children
