Aims

These sessions are designed to ensure that school and curriculum leaders are up to date with any guidance in these subjects. It will provide an opportunity to collaborate, network and share best practice with other local colleagues. There will also be practical help and support in how to manage these subjects.

Summary

The course explores;

- the types of social media that young people are using

- the benefits and risks in relation to mental helath and social media

- useful resources for teaching, learning and supporting young people and parents

There will also be practical help and support in how best to manage use of social media

There will be an opportunity to ask questions as part of the live webinar and resources will be available to download after the session.
