Aims

Concerns about the mental health and well-being of children and young people are currently a local and national priority – Southwark’s “Improving Mental Health and Resilience in Schools” (IMHARS) Project is offering new courses this and next term.

Summary

However, any conversation about supporting the children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing must also include how we support our school staff including teachers - this session will consider best practice approaches to staff wellbeing as part of the whole school approach, and will help us consider:

  • issues relating to wellbeing.
  • ten steps towards school staff wellbeing (Anna Freud Centre).
  • how good you are at promoting your own wellbeing and self care.

We are very pleased to be able to offer this session as a live meeting via zoom. The session will also be available to download on demand after the event.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions as part of the live meeting and resources will be available to download after the session.

Please book a place on the event in the usual way via the schools booking website.  Details of how to join the meeting will then be sent to you prior to the start of the session
